Justin Tang

Justin grew up in Hsinchu, Taiwan, a city built around one of the world’s largest semiconductor science parks. He joined Imperial College London in 2022 to study Chemistry. For his final year project, he is investigating the efficiency of the imine insertion step in aluminated heterocycles, aiming to improve conversion and yield by modifying the electronic environment of the imine. After graduating, Justin plans to enter industry, where he hopes to work in research and development and apply his training to different challenges. Outside the lab, he enjoys playing the violin, writing creatively, and spending time on the baseball field.
