Our research group develops new chemical reactions that hold promise for the recycling of environmentally damaging fluorocarbons and upgrading of molecules from sustainable sources. We investigate new concepts, catalysts and reagents based on sustainable metals from across the periodic table.

- 25th November 2025: Benedek's last chapter from his PhD thesis using heterometallic cooperativity to access sigma complexes of a transition metal is now published in Chem. Commun.
- 6th November 2025: Hodan and Sarah's paper on defluoroalkylation of trifluoromethane is now out in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.
