Siim Kaukver

Siim grew up in Tallinn, Estonia. He joined the MSci Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry course at Imperial in 2018. He is currently carrying out his final year project on molecular editing in the Crimmin group. His research focuses on catalytic C(sp2)-H bond activation using Al(III) β-ketiminate complexes and its applications in synthesis. After graduating from Imperial, Siim aims to start doctoral studies either in Europe or the UK. While away from the lab, he is probably baking something in the kitchen or alternatively, he might have gone for a jog. Siim is also a keen cyclist.
